Trent S.

Trent is a 12 year old Janesville native. Besides hosting the first installment of democracy it is!, Trent also was part of the cast of the award winning educational series “Into the Book.” Trent enjoys acting in plays, writing screenplays, playing sports and video games.

Hailey F.

Hailey is a 13 year old from Oregon. Hailey has trained for years at the Stoughton Center for Performing Arts learning ballet, tap, piano, jazz, drama, and advanced jazz funk. Hailey has taken first place at various dance competitions both for her solo and group performances. She has also had roles in several productions by Stage Works Projects, Inc.

Lily S.

Lily is an 11 year old from Madison. Being a part of democracy it is! was the acting debut for Lily. Lily is very social and loves to be with her friends. She likes to play tennis and has competed in several tournaments. She also enjoys bike riding, drawing, horses, reading and playing board games.

Ashley L.

Ashley is a 17 year old from Middleton. Ashley has an extensive performance history with several companies including Frank and Frank Productions, Middleton Players, Madison Family Theater, and the Madison Theater Guild. Ashley has been singing, dancing, and acting for years. Besides being on the stage, Ashley is busy backstage assisting with theatrical hair and makeup.

Alli K.

Alli is a 17 year old from Middleton. Alli has been performing for years. Besides acting, Alli enjoys singing, soccer, ultimate Frisbee, politics, and participating on the student council at Edgewood High School.

John Swan

John is a 22 year old Milwaukee native. John received training in improvisation, sketch writing, and character development at Second City Chicago. John was also an extra in the film “Mr. 3000” and the TV program “Making the Grade.” When he isn’t performing, John enjoys break dancing, scratching, and deejaying.
